About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide remote monitoring, diagnostics, and predictive analytics for critical rotating equipment and subsea pumps across North America deepwater assets.
- Support the deployment of advanced diagnostic tools and predictive analytics for machinery performance and early warning detection.
- Monitor subsea equipment, including pumps, HPUs, and control systems, while interfacing with Deepwater Support and Subsea Operations teams.
- Identify and report subsea equipment anomalies promptly to ensure operational integrity.
- Maintain and update equipment performance monitoring tools and integrate new subsea pump systems.
- Perform equipment health assessments and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization and reliability.
- Analyze lubricating oil sample reports and develop trend analyses to proactively notify regions of emerging risks.
- Assist in developing equipment history briefs following major maintenance or repair activities to document lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized (AICTE) university.
- Extensive experience in rotating equipment operation, maintenance, and system optimization.
- Proven experience in machinery condition monitoring analysis.
- Experience developing and utilizing predictive analytics models for subsea equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a machinery engineer or analyst in an Oil and Gas operating facility.
- Proficiency with Smart Signal, Uptime AI, or similar predictive analytics software, including the ability to create and tune models.
- Prior experience working with subsea equipment and Oil and Gas processing facilities.
- Experience using OSI Plant Information and SEEQ.
