Machine Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality product output and process efficiency
• Perform machine setups and changeovers following established procedures in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, including automated operations, tooling, controls, and sensors
• Conduct routine equipment and product inspections using gauges and quality tools like SPC and OEE
• Assist the maintenance department with preventative maintenance responsibilities and schedule updates
• Perform minor equipment repairs and provide detailed feedback to supervisors and maintenance teams
• Adhere to all safety, quality, environmental, and 5S housekeeping policies
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field
• Ability to interpret technical data, including drawings and Operating Method Sheets (OMS)
• Proficiency with common inspection and test equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Automation
