Machine Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure optimum customer service
• Adhere to all safety requirements, housekeeping policies, and 5S standards within the department
• Perform machine setups and changeovers following established procedures in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot equipment, including automated operations, controls, and sensors
• Conduct routine equipment and product inspections and complete all required documentation
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC and OEE to maintain production standards
• Assist the maintenance department with preventative maintenance responsibilities and schedules
• Recommend and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and quality

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field
• Ability to interpret technical data, including drawings and Operating Method Sheets (OMS)
• Proficiency with common inspection and test equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation fields
