Machine Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum productivity and quality
• Perform machine setups and changeovers following established procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment, including automated operations, controls, and sensors
• Conduct routine equipment and product inspections and complete required documentation
• Assist the maintenance department with preventative maintenance responsibilities
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC and OEE to maintain product specifications
• Adhere to all safety requirements, housekeeping policies, and 5S standards
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and productivity

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field
• Ability to interpret technical data, including drawings and Operating Method Sheets (OMS)
• Proficiency with common inspection and test equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation fields
