Machine Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum productivity and customer service
• Perform machine setups and changeovers following established procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment, including automated operations, controls, and sensors
• Conduct routine equipment and product inspections and complete all required documentation
• Assist the maintenance department with preventative maintenance (PM) responsibilities and schedules
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC and OEE to maintain product specifications and tolerances
• Adhere to all safety, housekeeping, and 5S policies within the department
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance processes, quality, and productivity

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance, mechanical, or technical field
• Ability to interpret technical data, including drawings and Operating Method Sheets (OMS)
• Proficiency in using common inspection and test equipment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation fields
