Machine Shop General Helper

Responsibilities

• Support general shop upkeep, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing tools
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and minor equipment repairs
• Manage materials and consumables such as coolant, rags, and gloves
• Maintain safe work practices and enforce cleanliness standards
• Learn to operate basic hand tools and shop equipment
• Support post-print operations including vacuuming powder and cleaning parts
• Gain exposure to manufacturing tools like lathes, mills, and grinders

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, facilities support, warehouse, or logistics
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30lbs unassisted
• Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal hardware-centric technical training or certification
• Exposure to metal manufacturing
• Ability to utilize power tools, cranes, and forklifts
• Experience maintaining air, water, or cryogenic inert gas systems
• Extremely humble and positive attitude
