Machine Setter Grinding & Cutting

Responsibilities

• Process workpieces using computer-controlled machines (EDM and grinding machines)
• Operate, set up, and prepare conventional and CNC-controlled machine tools
• Perform necessary adjustments to machine settings
• Conduct error analysis and troubleshoot occurring faults
• Set machine values and parameters
• Measure workpieces using precision measuring instruments (self-inspection)
• Maintain and care for the production equipment

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tool mechanic, process mechanic, or equivalent
• Relevant professional experience in machine setup and operation
• Knowledge of cylindrical grinding and plunge grinding is an advantage
• Proficiency in using CNC controls
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good German language skills
• Reliability, resilience, and ability to work in shifts (2 and 3-shift operation)
• Independent working style and high quality awareness
