Machine Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting regarding machine safety and regulatory compliance
• Educate clients on risk assessment methodology, CE marking, and documentation
• Conduct machine risk assessments and compile technical documentation
• Support CE marking of machines or machine lines
• Manage holistic safety commitments from a machine safety and user directive perspective

Requirements

• Documented experience in the field of machine safety
• Experience leading risk assessments, primarily ISO 12100
• Knowledge and understanding of risks and safety in machines and processes
• Strong knowledge of the Machinery Directive and associated standards
• Proficiency in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Valid B-driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading other risk assessments (e.g., ASA, HAZOP, HAZID)
• Knowledge of functional safety (e.g., ISO 13849, EN 61511)
• Ability to read technical drawings, P&ID, and circuit diagrams
• Knowledge of other directives such as PED 2014/68/EU or LVD 2014/35/EU
• Knowledge of user regulations such as AFS 2023:10 or AFS 2023:11
