Machine Repair Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance on complex plant machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to ensure process repeatability and uptime
• Install, alter, and rebuild plant machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure effective machine changeovers and set-ups
• Recommend spare parts for inventory to maintain equipment reliability
• Assist in the design, assembly, and fabrication of special machines and equipment
• Document all repairs, maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure quality control
• Adhere to all corporate safety guidelines and support environmental and recycling efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related mechanical work experience
• Knowledge of air logic, relay logic, CNC, and PLC machine control systems
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a forklift or aerial platform license
