Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and bindery equipment to complete the production process for printed materials
• Monitor packaging system performance, efficiency, and quality
• Perform equipment start-up, shut-down, and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot packaging system performance and quality issues to stabilize production
• Sample and monitor product quality, making necessary modifications to the system
• Replenish materials as they are depleted to ensure continuous operation
• Maintain accurate production, efficiency, and quality records

Requirements

• 0-3 years of machine operating or production experience in a team environment
• Strong mechanical ability for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for long periods in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds on occasion
• Ability to work the 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
