Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Execute machine operation according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch record instructions
• Maximize equipment efficiency and ensure first pass quality product
• Perform equipment set-up, tear down, and changeover activities
• Troubleshoot machine faults and communicate issues to supervisors and maintenance
• Document all actions performed at the time of performance
• Support manual inspection and packaging operations when necessary
• Assist with equipment qualification and validation processes

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
• Ability to pass a color blind test and maintain 20/20 vision (with or without correction)
• Ability to lift up to 38 lbs and carry 30 lbs
• Ability to perform frequent standing, sitting, and fine hand coordination tasks
• Ability to work Shift 3 (10:45 PM - 6:45 AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of previous pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience
• Experience with automated packaging equipment
• Knowledge of cGMP environments
