Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment including silicone systems, printers, saws, and label applicators to prepare foam insulation boards
• Inspect and test products for quality, including dimensions, foam quality, and appearance
• Perform routine equipment maintenance such as blade changes and dust collector cleaning
• Enter cutting parameters via touch screen and monitor production for accuracy
• Record and maintain density measurements and quality control data
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and provide backup support to the packaging team

Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8 to 10-hour shifts and walk on concrete floors and stairs
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency using precision measurement tools like tape measures and micrometers
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving weight, volume, and distance
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write technical instructions and data records
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and resolving process issues
