Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate ABM machinery safely and efficiently to manufacture plastic bag products according to specifications
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and make minor adjustments to minimize downtime
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company and customer standards
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap, downtime, and material usage
• Support preventative maintenance by identifying equipment concerns and communicating them to leadership
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience
