About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging equipment and tote stations according to product specifications, ensuring accuracy in weights and codes
- Adjust machines as required and perform minor repairs and routine maintenance work
- Maintain proper documentation of downtime, repairs, and machine logs
- Continually check the quality of product, packaging, and case printing, reporting any issues
- Conduct regular deep cleaning of equipment after product changes and maintain overall cleanliness
- Operate in accordance with all health, safety, and fire prevention regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift
- Ability to work in environments involving dust, high heat, or humidity
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude to repair equipment
