About the role
Responsibilities
- Run mill and lathe machines to produce high-quality valve and regulator parts
- Operate manual and CNC machines (including Tornos, Mori-Seiki, Mazak, and others)
- Perform quality inspections using Go/No-go gauges, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Load bars into bar feeders and ensure coolant lines are properly set and flowing
- Perform safe manual deburring and minor preventative machine maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and demonstrate manufacturing problem-solving skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Machining or Trade school
- 2-3+ years of experience running CNC machines
- Proficiency in basic shop mathematics, including arithmetic and algebra
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail with reliable vision and hearing
