Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate automatic press machines to produce high-quality rubber products
• Load hot molds with rubber and place molds into the press
• Remove finished parts from molds and perform quality inspections
• Clean molds and equipment to maintain production standards
• Record essential time and temperature data
• Manage material availability and change molds when necessary
• Operate a forklift to support production needs
• Follow all safe work practices and supervisor instructions

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments (over 100 degrees)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, reaching, bending, and climbing
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to maintain production schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience with machine operation
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
