Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform general aluminum fabrication, assembly, and packaging using hand and power tools
• Set up and operate equipment to drill, cut, and prepare aluminum components per work orders and schedules
• Measure, weigh, label, and pack materials according to shipping requirements, ensuring proper protection and accuracy
• Inspect products for quality defects and ensure compliance with specifications and drawings
• Read and interpret drawings, labels, and work instructions; complete basic documentation using shop floor systems or RF equipment

Requirements

• Experience using power tools and reading a tape measure (to 1/32”)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and perform basic math (fractions/decimals)
• Experience operating or willingness to learn equipment such as pallet jacks (manual/motorized) and cranes (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle small and large components safely
• Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with team members
