Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Handle caustic chemicals safely
• Operate machinery and overhead cranes
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Inspect products for quality flaws and ensure equipment is in safe working condition

Requirements

• Ability to read written and follow verbal instructions
• Experience reading and interpreting die drawings
• Experience using calipers, protractors, squares, micrometers, and feeler gauges
• Ability to multitask and work under time constraints
• Ability to work flexible schedules including required overtime
• Physical ability to stand/walk for 12-hour shifts on concrete
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with a partner
• Ability to work in temperatures consistent with regional outdoor climate conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Former extrusion experience
