Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks during the Insulbar process and report issues to Tech or Supervisor
• Assist Technician/Operator in locating and moving parts
• Set up strut machines and cut strut per the prioritized schedule, changing size and length as required
• Maintain cut strut in neat, labeled bundles and keep coil strut stocked
• Verify by die prints that all parts match and assembly requirements are met
• Observe material during operation to identify visible defects

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Effective communication skills
• Willingness to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts and potential overtime
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 75lbs individually or 150lbs with assistance
• Capacity to work in outdoor climate conditions

• Previous manufacturing experience
