Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• On/off-load product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Review work orders and load proper data into machine computer software
• Adhere to production requirements and quality control plans
• Visually inspect glass pieces for imperfections
• Operate various production equipment including cutting equipment, grinders, CNC machines, tempering ovens, and robotic equipment
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements using a tape measure

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• 1-2 years of prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
• Ability to work in a production environment with moderate to high noise levels and regional climate conditions
• Ability to work overtime when required
