Machine Operator - Name Plates

Responsibilities

• Operate nameplate machines to engrave information on gravel-ply material
• Operate wire marker machines to create labels for various sized wires and cables
• Utilize nameplate and wire marker schedules and blueprints to determine quantity, size, and wording
• Input required information into machine software for each identifier
• Install nameplates and wire markers onto manufacturing projects
• Coordinate with the purchasing department and vendors for material updates
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in a related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and product plans
• Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency
• Ability to use basic tools such as tape measures and impact drills
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods while operating machinery
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection
