About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products according to specifications.
  • Set up, load, and operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining strict quality control standards.
  • Perform SPC/quality checks using measurement tools and devices to ensure product accuracy.
  • Calculate and derive dimensional information from technical drawings and routings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following 5S and department safety guidelines.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately to ensure record integrity.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and cross-training across different departments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or equivalent work experience demonstrating competency.
  • Proven experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
  • Experience accessing and using information system computer databases.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and handle materials for the duration of a shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced math skills related to Geometric Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment.
