Machine Operator Lettershop

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain mail inserting equipment
• Operate machines independently to achieve expected throughput and efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment and provide necessary machine adjustments
• Ensure proper sorting and quality control according to USPS requirements
• Reconcile and record all output and accurately use job data capture to track time
• Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
• Follow all plant, department, and work area safety rules and procedures

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working with high-speed production or manufacturing equipment
• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of USPS regulations
• Ability to read and understand job tickets
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mail inserting machines
• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills
