About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Press Brake and/or CNC Burn Table equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production documentation
- Verify material specifications and dimensions before processing
- Produce parts that meet quality and dimensional specifications
- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and gauges
- Load, unload, and organize raw materials and finished components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience operating manufacturing or fabrication equipment
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic shop mathematics
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with manufacturing equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating a Press Brake
- Experience operating CNC Burn Tables
- Experience reading blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Forklift certification
- Experience in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing
