Machine Operator II

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial machinery including saws, routers, nailers, and spindles to process lumber into wood reel components
• Monitor and report on product quality while making incremental process adjustments
• Work within a team to handle raw materials through to finished products in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies
• Troubleshoot problems and situations effectively to ensure production continuity
• Perform physical tasks including standing for 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year of industrial machine operating experience
• Extensive knowledge of personal hand tools and their safe use for equipment adjustment and maintenance
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
