Machine Operator II

Responsibilities

• Process lumber from raw material to finished product using industrial saws, routers, nailers, and conveyors
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor product quality to meet customer specifications
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with company safety policies
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and situations effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Support team goals and assist other departments as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year of machine operating experience in an industrial environment
• Extensive knowledge of personal hand tools for operating and maintaining production equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 8 hours
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of 5S principles
