Machine Operator II Resaw

Responsibilities

• Process lumber from raw material to finished product within a team environment
• Operate industrial machinery including saws, routers, nailers, spindles, and scanners
• Make incremental process adjustments and monitor product quality
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with company policies
• Troubleshoot problems and situations effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Support quality and safety initiatives and assist other departments as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year of industrial machine operating experience
• Extensive knowledge of personal hand tools for operating and maintaining equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 8 hours
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment
