Machine Operator II (Laser) - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and engrave materials according to technical specifications and blueprints
• Load and unload materials onto machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure placement
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary machine adjustments to meet specifications
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production quantities, and operational issues
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot problems and achieve production targets

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of CNC machinery and laser cutting technology
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
