Machine Operator II

Responsibilities

• Execute production tasks following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and efficiency
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Report any safety, quality, or equipment deviations to the Team Leader or Team Manager immediately
• Participate in daily status board meetings to discuss deviations and propose solutions
• Engage in daily and weekly 5S routines to maintain high organizational standards
• Identify opportunities for waste elimination and drive KAIZEN continuous improvement activities
• Utilize downtime for cross-training and learning new manufacturing processes

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED minimum
• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with machines, equipment, or measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing orders
• Intermediate computer skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Technician I or II
• Valid Crane and Forklift certifications
