Machine Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines to produce blades and vanes
• Perform routine operations and quality checks on the production line
• Train on the job to become proficient in coatings, grinding, hole drilling, or finishing of turbine airfoils
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and operation sheets
• Use advanced shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and production standards
• Work 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m.) and perform overtime as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Knowledge of machining methods
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience or education

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of Machine Operator or Manufacturing experience
