Machine Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of equipment including cutting, grinding/polishing, CNC, or tempering furnaces
• On/off-load products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Review work orders and load data into machine computer software
• Adhere to production requirements and quality control plans
• Visually inspect glass for imperfections
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
• Read and interpret mathematical measurements using a tape measure

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• 1-2 years of prior operating experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
• Ability to work in a production environment with moderate to high noise and varying climate conditions
• Ability to work overtime when required
