Machine Operator I

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery to perform cutting, punching, forming, and processing operations
• Operate CNC-controlled machines including presses, lasers, and rolling mills
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data to select correct materials
• Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems
• Mark part numbers and attach identification tags to products
• Maintain continuous improvement practices and suggest cost-saving ideas

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• High attention to detail and constant state of alertness
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, pull, push, and reach for extended periods
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing
