Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain polishing and visual equipment to meet daily production goals
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using standard and specialized measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with other operators and cell leaders regarding current and future advancements
• Maintain a clean and safe work cell through daily housekeeping activities
• May be responsible for training and mentoring other machine operators

Requirements

• Experience in a machine shop environment (3 years of outside experience or equivalent vocational training hours)
• Ability to support 2nd shift hours and work overtime as needed per Union requirements
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work in a "work cell" environment involving compounds and slurry mixtures
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)
