Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, program, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment
• Fabricate material to specification based on job orders and production data
• Perform quality checks to ensure correct operational sequencing and product standards
• Monitor machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S standards
• Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous machine operator experience (fabrication equipment experience highly preferred)
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, protractors, tape measures, and steel rulers
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for up to twelve hours per day
