Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various production machine tools throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform regular safety checks and maintain a safety and quality mindset
• Adjust machine components to meet finished product specifications
• Troubleshoot operational problems, malfunctions, or jams
• Clean machinery and assist with preventative maintenance tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior experience operating machinery
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel constantly
• Ability to frequently lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong teamwork mentality and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with an ERP system
• Experience in a food or pet food manufacturing facility
• Experience working with PLC interfaces
