Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met
• Perform various quality checks and assist in the cleaning and change-over of equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory by reporting material usage, minimizing waste, and ensuring measuring devices are calibrated
• Ensure good housekeeping of all work areas
• Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry to support job tasks
• Comply with all company policies and practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company health and safety expectations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• 0–2 years of experience working in production operations
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed
• Ability to perform physical demands including bending, stooping, and standing for more than 50% of the shift
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and environments with occasional exposure to fumes or gases

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
