About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Work with brake presses, punch presses, and other manufacturing equipment
- Read blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
- Perform measurements and quality checks using inspection tools
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues
- Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and productivity
- Handle material and move components through the production process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
- Willingness to work overtime
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and think critically
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience
- Brake Press or Punch Press operator experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Experience with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges)
- Forklift or material handling experience
- Mechanical aptitude
