Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines to produce high-quality plastic conduit pipes in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform setups, change overs, and adjustments based on work orders
• Monitor extrusion production, equipment, and quality checks to ensure conformity
• Maintain accurate documentation of product dimensions and production reports
• Follow all company-standard safety requirements and report unsafe conditions
• Assist in starting reels and monitoring the coiling area

Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
• Basic math skills and the ability to take accurate measurements
• Ability to recognize colors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Ability to stand and move around hot machinery for up to 12 hours per shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator
• Experience with extrusion processes and product specifications
• Forklift operation experience
