About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate looming machines in the Tape Department to produce high-quality yarn products
- Load and maintain required amounts of raw materials on reels
- Monitor and maintain fluid, lube, and print quality levels
- Program printers to apply required messaging to products
- Perform quality checks on the line and equipment to ensure product integrity
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and maintain a neat, orderly work area
- Adhere to all safety requirements, SOPs, and GMPs
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- Ability to read and use measuring instruments
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of heavy equipment or machine operating experience
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack
