About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain assigned production lines to meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards
- Drive the production process to ensure products meet customer specifications and food safety requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures and "clean as you go" principles to maintain equipment and workspace
- Perform effective handovers with Maintenance and incoming shifts, reporting all faults and issues
- Coordinate local work team efforts, including managing breaks, lunches, and rotations
- Monitor machinery to ensure production meets targeted outputs and minimize waste
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong math, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work multiple shifts and schedules, including night shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment involving cold temperatures, high noise levels, and standing for long periods
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience
