Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures to meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards using a "clean as you go" principle to prevent equipment damage and stagnant water
• Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure production targets and outputs are met
• Perform effective handovers with Maintenance and the next shift, reporting all faults and issues
• Coordinate local work team efforts, including managing breaks, lunches, and rotations
• Maintain a positive safety culture and adhere to all health and safety requirements

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong math, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work multiple shifts and schedules, including night shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet, and humid environment with exposure to cold temperatures and allergens

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience
