About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine tools including compression molding presses, blenders, ovens, and routing machines
- Follow job orders to meet product specifications for dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
- Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders
- Adjust machine controls to set specified feeds, speeds, and pressures
- Observe machine operations to verify work piece conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean work area according to 5S standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to use measuring tools to inspect parts
- Basic computer skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to follow safety policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior shop or mechanical experience
