Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools including compression molding presses, blenders, ovens, and routing machines
• Follow job orders to meet product specifications for dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
• Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders
• Adjust machine controls to set specified feeds, speeds, and pressures
• Observe machine operations to verify work piece conformance to specifications
• Maintain a clean work area according to 5S standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use measuring tools to inspect parts
• Basic computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to follow safety policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior shop or mechanical experience
