Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to keep production moving
• Manage equipment start-up, shutdown, sanitation, and daily operations
• Inspect product quality including appearance, weight, and labeling
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support basic maintenance
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Follow safety and food manufacturing standards
• Load and unload materials and maintain proper inventory tracking
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across shifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (food production preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and move for 8+ hours
• Ability to work at varying temperatures (freezer to production floor)
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed
