Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery including resistance welding machines, brake presses, and mechanical power presses
• Utilize saws, drills, and grinders to meet production requirements
• Obtain certification to run basic machine centers and complete operator maintenance programs (OMP)
• Recognize and correct unsafe or defective products
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete production documentation, including process monitors and production tickets

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in a related area of responsibility preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods (60+ minutes)
• Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, squatting, or using a calculator

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related industrial experience
• Proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and counting)
• Ability to use a tape measure
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong communication skills in English
