Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery including resistance welding, brake presses, mechanical power presses, saws, drills, and grinders
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company standards
• Pack finished materials into dunnage and assist with loading and unloading tasks
• Inspect finished workpieces to ensure they conform to required specifications
• Complete production documentation, process monitors, and production tickets accurately
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting during shifts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role
• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, and climbing
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy or awkward materials weighing 50+ pounds
• Basic math skills for production tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of related industrial experience
• Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures
• Proficiency using a tape measure and performing basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
