Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle unit assembly and sub-assembly workstations
• Operate conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts
• Fit and assemble parts into complete assemblies, ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment
• Comply with all standard work procedures, control plans, processes, and quality guidelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in adherence to safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently
• Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, and reaching
