Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet quality and production targets
• Set up machines using work orders, samples, and specification books
• Utilize hand tools and measuring tools to ensure accurate operations
• Load, monitor, and unload in-process work following SOPs
• Maintain product quality standards by inspecting samples during production
• Document production metrics using production logs and Root Cause Analysis
• Identify and report defective materials or equipment issues to supervision
• Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and proper use of PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S and lean manufacturing principles

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Experience with forklift operation
• Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
• Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Ability to read customer drawings
