Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges for cutting, punching, forming, and processing
• Use a submerged arc welder to weld flat bar
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment
• Mark part numbers, order numbers, and piece counts on parts
• Attach identification tags for customer tracking
• Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area
• Handle repetitive material movement and climbing on/off equipment and ladders

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high production manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical data
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to work in varying and extreme weather conditions (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)
