Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and instruct line help to meet production and quality goals
• Inspect equipment for safety and maintain a safe work environment
• Read and understand production orders
• Use forklifts, cranes, and manual handling for material movement
• Complete proper documentation for produced materials
• Maintain physical stamina for standing, walking, and climbing for 8 to 12 hours

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in safe and efficient machine operation
• Proficiency with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and nail guns
• Ability to read tape measures and other measuring devices
• Basic computer skills including Email, Internet, Excel, and Word
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually above shoulder height or below waist
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with forklift and crane operation
