Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming equipment to produce roofing panels
• Operate metal folding machines to produce trim for metal roof and side panels
• Operate coil slitting and rewind equipment
• Visually inspect produced products against specifications to ensure quality
• Operate a forklift for positioning coils and moving finished goods
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Utilize handheld computers for production entries

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Metal fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to stand or walk for at least 7.5 hours per shift
• Ability to tolerate extreme temperature changes
